The following was posted on an OKCupid journal by a young woman as "Dictionary for decoding personal ads". I find it interesting that a woman posted this, and that she took out "women's" from the title. She got it from Craig's List, and found the last entry particularly clever.

I must say, the two times I was literally stalked by men were just a laugh riot.
Would someone who has a bit more time than I do at the moment please explain why this is misogynistic? I'm behind on Halloween preparations, and someone needs to offset the usual cluelessness like "Yes, but if I posted a list aimed at men, would that still make this one misogynistic?"

I wouldn't bother, but there's a man who escorts women into abortion clinics who honestly doesn't seem to understand why this is misogynistic. He seems to think that these are just the way people (he was unaware that the list was aimed at women at first because the woman left "women" out of the title) "spin" themselves on a personals site.
I'm trying to come up with an explanation as to why, even if a list for men were made, that this would not even things out. I've decided this is my last time "educating" someone. I didn't come online to educate, I came online to meet like-minded people for socialization.
A list for men would not even things out because for women, attractiveness is a required component of any kind of success, not just in romance but also in order to get good jobs, and so on. Whereas for men, being attractive to women is a much less important part of what they need to get ahead in life.
"How To Tell A Businessman From A Businesswoman"
A businessman is aggressive; a businesswoman is pushy.
He is careful about details; she is picky.
He loses his temper because he's so involved in his job; she's bitchy.
He's depressed (hung over), so everyone tiptoes past his office;
she's moody, so it must be her time of the month.
He follows through; she doesn't know when to quit.
He's firm; she's stubborn.
He makes wise judgments; she reveals her prejudices.
He is a man of the world; she's been around.
He isn't afraid to say what he thinks; she's opinionated.
He exercises authority; she's tyrannical.
He's discreet; she's secretive.
He's a stern taskmaster; she's difficult to work for.
